Wild Flower Macarons

We've been so inspired by flowers this month! Keeping with our May floral theme, we gathered some wild flowers from the side walk and let them dry over night. These macarons are floral flavors (lavender, rose, and marigold) so we wanted to incporate the dried flowers as visual element. We kept the macaron decoration simple with edible dried petals so that the fragrances and visuals would drive the floral point home.

Sisters, Sarah + Natalie Knowlton, are the founders of WE THE BIRDS — a lifestyle brand and luxury French macaron bakery.
