We grew up moving and living all over the world, exposed to different cultures and ways of life... the ‘WE THE BIRDS philosophy’ was built on our global experiences.
Our mission at WE THE BIRDS is to HONOR the universal human experience (which unites us all) while CELEBRATING the differences that make each of us uniquely beautiful.
Same but different; we’re all birds.
This is the founding philosophy behind our brand and its name. We have always wanted WE THE BIRDS to be a brand that is synonymous with inclusion and representation of all birds.
A harsh light is shining on the reality of racism in our society. As America is entering into hard (but necessary) conversations about racism, we want to do our part by making our small corner of the world/internet more inclusive. Acknowledging that change starts with us and that we CAN always do better, we’ll be actively working on better representation of #birdsofcolor and birds of all shapes/sizes on our platform and in our community.
Right now, we’re actively listening, learning, self-reflecting, diving into conversations with the black community and navigating the path forward as we reinforce our founding principles, values and goals! Ideas are churning…
Our hope is that the collective exposure the world is experiencing today will ultimately lead the way to a better tomorrow 🙏
