There are functional cars, there are designer cars, then there’s a Lincoln.  

Most of us associate a Lincoln with iconic luxury and comfort, but that’s merely a pre-requisite for the brand.  It wasn’t until we partnered with Lincoln Motor Co. that we came to fully understand what drives this company to excellence and why Lincoln deserves to be on everyone’s consideration list (if not in your driveway).

We grew up learning about cars from our father (an engineer and true car-guy).  Our dad taught us to appreciate the form and function of a vehicle, by explaining the value of every detail.  Our favorite memories with our dad revolve around his cars  – listening to music loudly, driving fast, and acting as his “assistants” when working on his cars. Though partial to German sports cars, there is no car brand he won’t consider without doing research.  Thanks to our father, we understand that car brands are constantly innovating and evolving to meet consumers needs or in some cases, exceed consumers expectations.  Lincoln exceeds expectations.  

There is nothing standard about a Lincoln.  For a company that was founded over 100 years ago, Lincoln's resilience in the auto market is pretty remarkable. Lincoln has a way of making its mark over and over again reminding us and the competition that they are respected leaders in the industry.  Most recently, Lincoln launched the all-new 2020 Aviator.  Sarah and I had the opportunity to partner with Lincoln and experience the debut of the vehicle in Los Angeles.  Let’s just say, we fell hard for the Aviator and the rest of the world had a similar reaction.  The 2020 Lincoln Aviator is insanely attractive, from it’s sexy exterior facade, inventive interior design (making the 7-seater car look sleek without giving up comfort for the third row), and state of the art technology (from keyless entry, app-based controls, a Revel sound system, the list goes on...).

So yeah, we can attest to Lincoln’s famed luxury and comfort first-hand and but there’s more…

The company and brand as a whole leads with a customer serving mentality that makes everyone feel like a VIP.

Lincoln makes state-of-the-art vehicles that are cutting edge and world class.  But the Lincoln experience extends far beyond the vehicles they carefully craft and deliver.  Lincoln invites us all to be a part of a lifestyle – one that feels personalized, exciting, inclusive and luxurious.  We spend so much time in our car getting to and from life’s activities, and Lincoln celebrates this life with you.  We predict this is why you will notice more of Lincoln's fleet gracing our roads.

Sisters, Sarah + Natalie Knowlton, are the founders of WE THE BIRDS — a lifestyle brand and luxury French macaron bakery. We grew up all over the world, moving over 17 times and living in many countries including: Singapore, Australia, Venezuela, Cambodia, Thailand, France and of course, the US of A.  Our personal style and global perspective is a reflection of our transient upbringing. 

Now based in Dallas, TX, we established WE THE BIRDS through a shared love of fashion, design, travel and French macarons. What started as a creative outlet for two sisters, has blossomed into a multi-faceted business. Sarah’s professional background (with industry experience in fashion, design, & photography) combined with Natalie’s culinary prowess and professional business experience sets us apart from our competitors and makes us a uniquely dynamic duo.
