Summer Essentials

Featuring the Eliza Tunic x rag & bone
written by:
Natalie

The rag & bone Eliza Tunic speaks to our fashion-loving souls. This beautifully designed top feeds right into our obsession with modern minimalism — the tailored sleeves, crepe hem, and unexpected lace-up sides? I mean, yes, please. Sarah and I share everything in our closets (except shoes – I know, HUGE upset... sadly we are drastically different shoe sizes). This summer we find ourselves fighting over the Eliza Tunic more than any other item. [I won't lie, we have also been fighting tirelessly over the Pilot Backpack... which is another story.]

Anyway, this easy, breezy rag & bone tunic is extremely versatile — it can be dressed up or down with a few accessory changes. It is light & airy without baring too much. It is unique without drawing too much unwanted attention. It is both simple and impeccably detailed at the same time. The Eliza Tunic is truly a must-have in our wardrobe. We're not exactly sure how we got dressed without it! Trust us, you want this piece in your closet :).

Natalie

Prior to founding WE THE BIRDS, her professional experience was in accounting/finance. After being diagnosed with Celiac Disease, she fell in love with French macarons (because they are a naturally, gluten-free dessert). She spent several years mastering the delicate art of making macarons and developing her own unique recipe. Natalie fancies herself more of a "foodie", than a baker. Nonetheless, she is the founder and creator of WE THE BIRDS | Macarons recipe and is known for creating innovative flavor profiles. In her role as Macaron Director, she leads the our team of talented bakers.
