When we think about March, we tend to think of the color green. We always keep calendar holidays in mind when we're defining our monthly theme because holidays often dictate the kind of macarons we will be making. March is time for celebrations like Mardi Gras and St. Patrick's Day. Green is a common thread for these holidays.
Aside from calendar holidays, March is the start of the spring season. In our minds, this is an exciting change of season. Playing off the extravagance of Mardi Gras and the promise of more light and longer days, we decided that our March theme will be visually "extra." Think sequins, glitter, and shiny things— pushed to the extreme.
