Ever feel like time is moving so fast that you can't possibly keep up?
I picture time on one of those airport moving walkways and I am the person hustling on the side moving my legs as fast as I can, yet still, time is 5 steps ahead of me....

The best solution I've got right now for the times when day becomes night before we know it – is this outfit. The key to this "day-to-night" look is golden hues. I love the way gold transitions from day to night. In fact, I often refer to the transition between day and night as the golden hours.

This gold watch from Marc Jacobs latest FW17 collection is one of my favorite elements in this day-to-night look. It's classy and modern for the workplace with just enough glam for after-hours. The classic double J design is unique and minimalistic in black and gold.

This gold hued ruffled top is perfect for daytime and can easily be paired with a blazer. Let the ruffled sleeves shine at happy hour by simply removing your blazer. I truly love this shirt. The metallic hue is subtle and it fits beautifully.

These wide leg lace-up crop pants (that's a mouthful) are all the rage this season.  Rock them with a classic black heel* and you're ready for ANY occasion! *SALE ALERT: my favorite Vince Camuto heels worn in this outfit are 36% off right now!

Prior to founding WE THE BIRDS, her professional experience was in accounting/finance. After being diagnosed with Celiac Disease, she fell in love with French macarons (because they are a naturally, gluten-free dessert). She spent several years mastering the delicate art of making macarons and developing her own unique recipe. Natalie fancies herself more of a "foodie", than a baker. Nonetheless, she is the founder and creator of WE THE BIRDS | Macarons recipe and is known for creating innovative flavor profiles. In her role as Macaron Director, she leads the our team of talented bakers.
