Every once in awhile we get to work with a brand on our dream list!  Billy Reid is that brand for me. There is so much to admire about Billy Reid as an American fashion designer and lifestyle brand. Not only has he received an impressive list of accolades over the past decade, including 3 time CFDA award winner... but he also finds time to host an epic Shindig in his hometown of Florence, Alabama every summer with James Beard–awarded chefs and Grammy–winning performers. I would very much like to be his friend :).
I remember the first time I stepped foot into a Billy Reid store — I was in college in Charleston, SC and they had just opened a store there. I was awestruck by the quality behind every piece. A college student on a budget, I honestly expected to feel intimidated or compelled to leave but surprisingly, I felt at home in the store. Billy Reid describes his clothing as “lived-in luxury" (a hallmark of American style and nod to his Southern roots) and that’s exactly how I felt being in his store for the first time. I’ve been a super fan ever since and it's truly a dream-come-true to be able to partner with Billy Reid and share some of his women’s collection with you.
