The Lincoln x Dream Experience
Dream Hotel Nashville

The city of Nashville is FULL of character— its streets are buzzing with new life and its rich history is showcased everywhere. Dream Nashville embodies the city’s modern-historic vibe. Nestled between two historic, landmarked buildings, the sleek new hotel feels every bit as rich and colorful as the city’s celebrated history.
Every detail within the hotel's walls have been carefully designed to honor the city’s color heritage in a modern way. We’d like to take you through our first impressions the hotel:
We are picked up from the airport by a driver in a 2019 Lincoln Black Label Navigator and chauffeured to the hotel. We walk through the brightly lit entryway and two doormen open the large doors. The hotel lobby design is moody and colorful— rich navy walls are complemented by black and white floors and orange, velvety, mid-century modern furniture. We are welcomed by smiling staff and swiftly check into our (separate) rooms. [aside: we just love that Lincoln and Dream Hotel always treat us as individuals and give us separate rooms... after all, we are separate humans.] The elevator lobby wall is adorned with a neon light art installation that gives the illusion that the room goes on forever. The elevators carry us to the 10th floor (the highest level). We step out into another richly decorated lobby with a large, antique mirror taking up the entirety of the wall. Rounding the corner, the hallway floor is lined with a blue carpet covered with the hotel's signature feather design. This is the first time we notice the feather, but it won't be the last time we see it. We enter our rooms and are met with a seamless continuation of the design we've already been experiencing. Navy walls, a black bed frame finished with crisp white linens. We notice a marble table with tons of goodies from local vendors (chocolates, moonshine, a personalized leather keychain to name a few). A note from Lincoln x Dream Nashville welcomes us to the grand opening party. The bathroom is decorated with bold black and white lines, navy tiles and brass hardware. To be honest, we've never seen navy, black and orange look so good!
Apart from the hotel, we spent a full day exploring the city of Nashville in our ultra-comfortable ride, the Lincoln Navigator Black Label. Our first stop was Hatch Show Print, located in the 5th Lobby of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum building. We toured the Hatch Show Print, which is one of the nation’s oldest printing press shops that has been letter-pressing posters since 1879. It was pretty cool witnessing these old printing press machines create concert posters for today’s top artists. Sarah and I kept smiling at each other because the attention given to each poster design reminded us of what we do here at WE THE BIRDS with our macaron designs and content.
We got to know the city more intimately by stopping at various murals, depicting the character and soul of Nashville.
Our final stop before lunch was to another 19th century site, The Parthenon in Centennial Park (built in 1897). Who knew that Nashville was home to the only full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens? Sarah was nerding out over the historical replica of her favorite Ancient Grecian building, while I geeked out over the 2019 Navigator Black Label's sleek features and interior.
Back at the Dream Hotel, the evening kicked off at 6pm with a private cocktail hour hosted by Lincoln in the hotel's uber cool speakeasy bar, Snitch. We enjoyed top-shelf libations and delicious Nashville-inspired hors d’ouvres – all while listening to a live musician perform on the stand-up vintage piano. True to style, Lincoln and Dream Hotel created an ambient experience that felt like no other.
After cocktails, we returned to the hotel to find the lobby buzzing with dancers and beautiful humans everywhere dressed for the grand occasion. There was a vintage and whimsical feel in the air as the party continued in the hotel’s main restaurant, Stateside Kitchen and Parlour bar.
As if we weren’t spoiled enough by these events, the FINAL surprise was best of all! We were escorted down to the hotel’s underground club, Dirty Little Secret. The energy inside the club was invigorating! On stage, The Chainsmokers duo, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart, performed live for hours in the intimate club setting. We danced, a lot, and couldn't stop smiling the whole night. Everything felt like a dream too good to be true.
If the grand opening experience is any indication of what these two brands are capable of when combining forces, then all Dream Hotel visitors are in for a real treat. Lincoln vehicles are available at all Dream Hotels to take guests around the city. We know we barely scratched the surface of what this city has to offer, so we truly can’t wait to come back to Nashville for an extended stay at the Dream Hotel!
